Chapter One.

One day a nice little box called George was walking down the road to the shop. When a llama stopped him to buy some peanuts but George didn't have any peanuts so he collapsed from the shock and then when he recovered there was a big shop stood over him worrying about the peanut shortage of 2914. They all ran round screaming, “Save the tea, eat the soil!” (A major environmental campaign of the time).

It seemed to make very little sense at the time but the little box thought it figured most fittingly. Later that day George bumped into a seagull named Alfonzo. After hours of searching Alfonzo just couldn’t find any peanuts he had looked everywhere! They seemed very illusive. Alfonzo asked George to help, being a polite little box George said he would. But then George found something, it was a small metal cube, another box. He opened the box, when suddenly a light showered onto the rich green grass and illuminated Alfonzo the Seagull, who drowned in a pile of peanuts. He jumped with joy and thanked George for the peanuts. It was a very joyous day. Although George couldn’t help thinking about the llama he had met earlier that day and if he had found any peanuts.
